Matthew's Educational Trip 2017 (Part 3): Sky Ranch Tagaytay

After our short trip at Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna and the breezy stop at Tagaytay Highlands, we headed to Sky Ranch Tagaytay, a 5-hectare adventure park owned by SM Prime Holdings, Inc.

First ride we had is the train that tours around the entire place. This helps in familiarizing with the place and let you decide what ride to try.

I am afraid of heights but tried to conquer it again by riding the Sky Eye.

The Sky Eye is one of the biggest Ferris Wheel in the country. It lifts you 63 meters above the ground giving you a great view of Tagaytay, Taal Volcano and Lake, and the provinces nearby. The Sky Eye has 32 gondolas that took a full round for 10 minutes.

After the Sky Eye, we took relax at the Grand Carousel

This 2-storey Grand Carousel consist of 24 horses and 4 sleighs strategically located to get a 360-degree view of the entire Sky Ranch.

After the Grand Carousel, my interest was caught by another extreme ride, the Drop Tower.

The Drop Tower is an extreme ride that lifts the passenger to the top of a vertical structure and bounces up and down. The 12 seats make a 360 rotation to give a perfect views of Taal Lake.

The ride was extreme. I was shouting to stop the ride as it falls freely and suddenly stop at the middle. Buti na lang ung rotation mode ay hindi pinagana during that time.

After these rides, the rain falls. So we decided to take a rest and wait for the rain to stop. Unfortunately, the rain continues which made us decide to take our dinner and go back to the bus.

There are other rides at Sky Ranch but due to bad weather and for safety, it was not open to tourist.

By the way, before I forgot, here is a human robot mannequin that moves when you put money on the box in front of him.

These ends the 2017 Matthew's Educational Trip. I am looking forward for the next year's trip.

Have you been to these places too?
