Holi- and Holy Day 2018

One of the most awaited holidays or should I say Holy day is the Lenten week. Some go to their hometown while others travel out of town or country. Some have a staycation at home.

This is a long overdue post but I want to share the highlights of our Holy Week.

We attended the Palm Sunday mass in a nearby church – Sto. Nino Parish Church of Meycauayan, Bulacan.

Since we still have to work until Wednesday, we opted to travel to Nueva Ecija on Thursday early morning. For us to avoid the traffic rush.

We planned to go to the Basilica Minor of Manaoag, Pangasinan. Pero dahil pagod, we canceled at nagpahinga na lang sa bahay.

Friday, we spend the day at home and have lunch at BIL's place.

Saturday, we finally decided to push our plan to Pangasinan and attended the mass in Manaoag. We arrived the place just in time with the first mass of the day at 6 am.

There is no homily only readings from the bible. It was very solemn since the passages were put in hymns.

Sunday, the last day of a long-week vacation and para masulit, we just stayed at home.

Before the day ends, we dropped at one of the most visited areas in our alma mater – the Sunflower plantation.

It is not where you spent the Holy days but it is how you remember Christ sacrificing himself.

By the way, here are other photos framed during the week-long vacation.
