Cancer is one
of the leading causes of death worldwide. Because of constant changes in
lifestyle, the risk of having such disease is increasing.
Last week, I read an article shared by one of my FB
friends about cancer, how it grows and how to counteract this deadly disease.

Here are the key points about cancer.
Cancer cell survives in acidic nature.
Biochemist Otto Heinrich Warburg found in his study
that cancer cells live in a body lower pH or acidic system. Normal body's pH is
about 7.37 or slightly alkaline. Lowering the body's pH to about 6.0 can be a
good environment for cancer cells to live.
Cancer lives in anaerobic condition.
Once body's pH lowers, it may result to production
of more carbon dioxide thus reducing the level of oxygen. When the oxygen
level of a normal cell is lowered by about 35%, the risk of turning normal cell
into cancerous one is very high.
Diet is a big factor.
Processed and refined foods like sugars and grains
can shift body's pH from alkaline to acidic. Aside from cancer, other illness
may be associated with acidic body. Osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease,
diabetes and acid reflux to name a few. Bacteria and viruses can also thrive in
an acidic medium.
How can we restore our body’s alkaline nature?
Here is a natural way to get back to body’s pH balance which may help
fight and prevent cancer.
You will need:
1/3 tablespoon of baking soda
2 tablespoons of lemon juice or apple-cider vinegar
(with the mother).

Mix
the ingredients in 250ml of cold water and mix well. You will notice fizz once
you stir the mixture. Drink the mixture at once. This will naturally reduce the
acidity in the body reducing the risk of getting diseases associated with
acidic condition.

Aside from this procedure, avoiding fruit and vegetable seeds can
also reduce the acidity in the body. Seeds are normally high in uric acid which
may add in lowering the pH level of the body. Eating more green, leafy
vegetables is another option to keep your body’s pH to alkaline level.
