It is already half-way of 2015 and with this, malls and other establishments are offering clearance or mid-year sale. Just like the other day, I saw several signage that one of the malls near our location will be having Mid-Year sale until July 05, 2015.

Not only malls are joining the band-wagon but some online shops are also doing their “site-wide” sales. One of these online shopping sites is Lazada.

Here is a press release from Lazada about their Massive Mid-Year Sale:

The "Best Solution" To Tough Opiate Withdrawals

Taking opiate drugs are usually prescribed to stop suffering from pain. However, after taking such medications and suddenly stopped by physicians, patients will suffer the so-called opiate withdrawal.

Elimidrol

A Tough Nut To Crack
To reduce effects of opiate withdrawal, some doctors prescribe a “safer opiate” - the Methadone. Somewhat this method is effective but many patients tends to get addicted to it. For medical practitioners, weaning from opiates without any symptoms or dependency to other drugs is a great challenge. This is the reason why Sunrice Nutraceuticals developed Elimidrol.

Driving Moments: Obeying Simple Traffic Rules

On our way to Bolinao, I took a shot on this tricycle (actually there is a motorcycle in front) that continuously drive his vehicle inside the intersection even on red light. Red light means STOP, this is very elementary.

Aside from the signal light, I know that an intersection with yellow cross means that it should be clear from vehicles, anytime.

What if a fast moving vehicle from a green signal passes the intersection?

Company Outing: El Pescador Hotel and Resort

El Pescador Hotel and Resort
Last June 13-14, the company held our yearly outing at El Pescador Hotel and Resort in Bolinao, Pangasinan.

The 5-hour drive is tiring because of rough roads in Camiling, Tarlac area due to side-by-side road reconstruction, zigzag roads in Sual and Bani, Pangasinan and few traffic build-ups in some town or palengke.

As soon as we arrived the place, we immediately went to the assigned room in the hotel to take a short nap.

With relaxing instrumental musics like saxophone, I easily fell asleep. I know playing such wind instrument is not easy. You also need to understand the use of additional accessories like synthetic reeds that will alter the range of the music from bass, soprano, alto, tenor and baritone.

At the start of the year, I set my goal to loose weight. There are already several ways I tried like the military diet, dance exercise every morning and having a weekend jog at the clubhouse.

I admit that oftentimes, I feel lazy getting up from bed every morning to perform such activities. Until now, I am trying to look for other ways to loose weight and shed the stored fats especially in my belly.

One way I found is to perform yoga. This does not require more space unlike the others. I found this 12 ways to reduce tummy fats through yoga HERE.

Aside from the weight-loss benefits, there are other advantages of this like flexibility, good posture, breathing benefits, stress reliever, good for the heart and fund raising. Yes, doing yoga can also help fund some organization like Give Back Yoga Foundation.

Getting Ready for School

Ready for school
It’s Monday again! I hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Aside from the first day of the week, it is Matthew’s first day in school too. He is officially Kinder-2, another school year for him. The last step towards grade school. With his eagerness, I know he will learn more this year.

Most kids are excited about going back to school but to some parents, it is a difficult task.

Some parents experience problems waking-up kids to prepare for school. Glad for us that we didn’t encounter any problem with Little Bossing.

How we do that? Here are some tips.

Let them enjoy with limitations.
Since vacation time, we still allow him to enjoy it. We let him watch his favorite clips on TV via YouTube, draw his favorite character and superhero, play outside in the afternoon.

But all of these have limitations too.

As agreement, he needs to behave nice at home. If he breaks the rule, all of these will be limited for the next day or until he become nice again.

Just like Mommy shared, the rule of punishment is better than the reward system because this will let them realize their mistakes.

To start with, here are some photos on road widening.

In our area, there are several roadworks and expansion happening every now and then. What's new? Election is period is already near.
