Glee Season 6: Season Finale

Glee Poster (Source: Cartermatt)
After six year, the TV Show Glee has finally came to an end. I followed this TV series from the first season. Ironically I am not updated. I used to watch this after every season ends. It is better to have it continuously rather than waiting for each episode to be shown on TV.

Just like the season finale, the final episode was shown last March 20 but I just started watching the first episode last week. The final season has 13 episodes.

Zero Cavities For Better Dental Health

Tooth Decay
One of the most important but often neglected by many is dental hygiene. And one of the most common problem in this aspect is about tooth decay. Tooth decay happens when the outer layer of the teeth has been damaged by acids. In some surveys, 1 out of 3 adults and more than 1 out of 4 kids are experiencing this problem.

Tooth decays are formed when bacteria in the plaque (sticky film formed when bacteria, small food particles and saliva combined) produced acids after digesting carbohydrates like sugars and starches. If the plaque is accumulated, it will break the surface of the teeth. The next layer of the tooth is then dissolved leading holes or cavities.

Homemade Foods to Beat Summer Heat

This season, one of the best option to ease the scorching heat of the sun is visiting resorts – either man-made or natural. Wavepools are now the main attraction of most resorts. But if you want to explore nature more, you can visit beaches, rivers, falls and lakes.

Aside from resorts, refreshing foods are also in demand season. Fruits like watermelon, singkamas, and melon are good picks this summer. Also, making homemade coolers is a nice alternative to counteract the heat and a great way to start business as well.

Here are some coolers that you can do at home.

Summer Outfits for Men

Source: 1-moda.com
I am not a fashionista. Simple jeans, shirt and shoes will to my OOTD as long as I am wearing a clothes that I am comfortable with.

Though I don't care what to is in or not, I believe that men should also have a sense of being fashionista from time to time. Outfits that suits with the season from head to foot must be considered rather than ending into the so-called “tiis-ganda” situation men style.

Here are some things we need to consider in wearing this summer season.

Tops:
Wearing light-colored tops made of light fabrics is great.

Holy Week Staycation

The Lenten week started on Palm Sunday. It was already a tradition for us to attend the mass on this day. Reviewing the years, I realized that we haven’t attended the same church for this event for four consecutive years already. We visited Baclaran Redemptorist Church, Divine Mercy National Shrine of Marilao, Imaculate Concepcion of Sta. Maria and Our Lady of Fatima Church (Heritage Homes, Marilao) in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, respectively. I guess I have to think another church for next year’s Palm Sunday.

Throwback Thrusday: Meteor Garden

Are you familiar with the songs Qing Fei De Yi and Broken Vow?

How about the time when men let their hair grow long?

What about F4 and Barbie Hsu?

Or Dao Ming Si, Hua Ze Lei, Xi Men, Mei Zuo and Shan Cai?

More than a decade ago, the first Asianovela, Meteor Garden, was aired in the Philippines and after few episodes, it was already a hit!

The story was lifted from the novel “Boys Over Flower” which eventually had a Koreanovela with the same title.

Re-visiting Elementary Alma Mater

Chemist Dad as the Guest Speaker
Just before the Lenten season started, I was invited to re-visit my Elementary Alma Mater and be part of their Graduation Ceremony as their Guest Speaker.

At first, I was hesitant to accept the invitation since I was not the valedictorian or salutatorian during our time.

After few moments of thinking, I decided to agree as their commencement speaker.

Of course, I need to know their theme first in order to create my speech. Hindi pa naman ako sanay gumawa ng speech. This is my first time to attend such event.

The theme “Saktong Buhay: Sa De-kalidad na Edukasyon Pinanday.” was given to be few days before the graduation day.
