I am really curious about this movie until yesterday, I finally able to view the whole movie kahit paputol-putol ang panunuod. Hehehe.
This is a story of a
director – Rainer (Kian Cipriano), producer – Bingbong (JM de Guzman), and
their production assistant – Jocelyn (Cai Cortez) who want to make an indie
film entitled “Walang Wala” which
aims to be part of different international film festivals. The story focuses on
a mother with 7 kids. Due to poverty, she was forced to sell one of her kids to
a foreigner.
They are going to take a
shot in a slum area. However, during their meeting, they are trying to review
the script and trying to make some modifications like who will be the lead
actress, the kid to be sold is a girl or boy, or they even try to make it
musical.
When it comes to the lead
actress, they are eyeing for Eugene Domingo and they will have a meeting.
During their meeting, Eugene gave her suggestions on some scenes and they
agreed except for one thing – the septic tank scene. They both agreed to have a
double on that scene.
After the meeting, they
toured into the location and they found it perfect. Unfortunately, their car
was ransacked by the informal settlers.
On the final scene, they
are going to film the septic tank scene. Before filming, Eugene keep on talking
about the movie Rainier gave to her. Until she accidentally fell down the
septic tank which ended taking the scene without any double.
The movie was very simple
yet great. Actually, I was thinking that the title goes like that because the setting of the movie they are going to make is in "slum" area. Not until the last scene that Eugene fell into the septic tank.
I kept on laughing as Eugene explains to the three her types of acting according to her experience. However, this must not be watched by kids since there are some explicit dialogues.
