Father for the Better

I hope this bit of information can help fathers like me to develop and be the best father in the world.

BE MORE VOCAL
Fathers have more impact than mother on kid’s language development when they reach the age of three. So better speak up. You may use new words so that they will learn more.

DON'T GIVE IN TO TANTRUMS
When kids starts to have tantrums don’t be rattled, instead, stay calm and attentive. Giving candies to calm them will not be a good idea. This will just encourage them think that they won over you by having tantrums and will be repeatedly done by your kids.
CHALLENGE THEM
When they reach the age that they can play with you, try to have physical games letting them win at first but as the time goes, give them a little bit of challenge to win over you. This will help their sense of strength and test their muscles. Furthermore it help them boost their self-confidence and avoid bullies.

ENCOURAGE CALLUSES
Encouraging them in helping you in some of your task if a good gift you can give to them. When telling your friend or neighbour, let them hear that they helped you and how pleased you are in their efforts.

TEACH THEM TO TINKER
Let them observe you in exploring things like buying the right things for some household fixtures or automotive spare parts. This will help them to figure out things. Furthermore, their sense of humor and resourcefulness.

SET REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS

Make your kids know what your expectations are. Start with improvement first. Teach them the essence of slow mastery. Show them the importance of being expert in one thing.
